JBSports2Business has my initials - Jan van Baal – in its name for a very good reason. In this way I can emphasise the direct, personal involvement that I feel as founder and owner with the sportsmen and women and the sporting clubs for which our company works.
I studied law during my, otherwise modest, football career and quite soon after I stopped playing football I started to offer my legal knowledge and my experience as a professional footballer to other sportsmen and women.
It proved to be an ideal combination which is now a success formula for scouting and supervising professional footballers in particular and has been supplemented with more than 12 years of experience, an enthusiastic team of employees and an extensive network in the world of professional sport.
Our ‘personal touch’ is of equal importance to the ‘skills’ mentioned and the official players agent license I have had since 2002. JBSports2Business works with a tightly-knit team of skilled and involved professionals in sport management and marketing for whom the interests of ‘our’ players, clubs and sponsors always takes the number one place.

Much has changed in the 12 years I have given players guidance. As the largest sport in the world, football has grown to become a professional business sector with billions of turnover and unprecedented exposure to the public, media and sponsors.
It has become impossible for players and clubs to find the correct path, keep to it and take advantage of this enormous multinational business alone without professional advice.
An extra guarantee for successful collaboration is possible if the advice can then offered by people who feel personally involved with ‘their’ player, club or sponsor. As luck would have it, my staff and I are these people!
